Everything You Want to Know
About AI Visibility

New concept. Real results. Here is everything we hear most often — answered plainly, without the jargon.

The Basics

Understanding AI Visibility

AI visibility is whether your business shows up when someone asks a tool like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google AI a question such as "who is the best personal injury attorney in Nashville" or "find me a trusted financial advisor near me." These tools answer directly with business names and recommendations. They do not send people to a list of websites.

If your business cannot be verified by these systems, you will not appear in that answer — no matter how strong your Google presence is. 45% of consumers used AI tools for local business recommendations within the past year, according to BrightLocal's 2026 research, and that share is growing every year.
SEO improves your Google rankings. AI visibility optimization improves whether AI systems can find, verify, and confidently recommend your business. Google's own AI search features are built on its core Search ranking systems, so strong SEO fundamentals still matter and aren't wasted work. But AI citation also depends on directory accuracy, structured data, and cross-source consistency that ordinary SEO work doesn't always cover.

A perfect SEO score does not guarantee ChatGPT will recommend you. Most SEO agencies have not addressed this yet — it is a newer, separate discipline most do not yet offer.
Yes — try this right now.
The 30-Second Spot Check

Open ChatGPT and type the question your ideal client would actually ask — not your business name. Something like: "Who is the best personal injury attorney in Brentwood Tennessee?" or "Find me an independent insurance agent near Hendersonville."

If your name appears, you have some AI visibility. If a competitor appears instead — or no one local is named at all — that is exactly the gap we audit and fix.

Searching your business name directly tells you much less than searching the way clients actually search.
AI systems cross-reference your business information across dozens of sources before deciding whether to recommend you. If your address appears as Suite 4 on your website, Ste. 4 on Yelp, and 4th Floor on Google, the AI cannot confidently confirm these are all the same business.

Confusion equals silence. The AI will not recommend a business it cannot verify. Even a small inconsistency — an abbreviation, an old phone number, a former business name still indexed somewhere — creates a verification failure that costs you citations every single day.
Schema markup is code added to your website that tells AI systems in plain machine-readable language exactly what your business is, who works there, where you are located, what services you offer, and what questions you answer. Without it, AI has to guess — and when it guesses wrong, it stays silent.

Most local businesses — even those with excellent SEO — have no schema or only generic website schema that says very little. Niche-specific schema like LegalService and Attorney schema for law firms is almost never present. Installing it is consistently one of the highest-impact fixes in any audit we deliver.
The Audit

What We Check and How It Works

We run over 20 individual reports by hand covering every layer of AI visibility:

AI citation tests across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overview with screenshots — a competitor visibility map showing who AI is recommending instead of you — schema markup on your homepage and every key page — NAP consistency across 10 or more directories — your Google Business Profile — Wikidata entity status — industry-specific directory listings — bio or provider pages — FAQ content on service pages — site speed — and broken links.

Every gap is documented, ranked by impact, and assigned to who fixes it — your developer, your staff, or us.
Those tools drop your website into a program and produce a generic score. Found and Verified is run by a human expert — a Master Certified AI Specialist — who runs every report by hand, makes judgment calls no algorithm can make, and builds recommendations specific to your business, your industry, and the exact questions your clients are typing into AI.

We know which directories matter for law firms versus dental practices versus insurance agents. We know how to write schema that tells AI not just that you exist, but exactly what you do, who you serve, and what questions you answer. That level of specificity cannot be automated — and generic automated audit tools aren't even trying to get there.
The Tier 1 audit is typically delivered within 5 to 7 business days of receiving your intake information. It is delivered as a polished 10 to 12 page dashboard-style report on a live Zoom call — or in person if you are local to the Nashville area.

We walk through every finding together so you leave the call knowing exactly what to do and in what order. No guesswork. No wondering what the report means. You get a ranked fix list with every item labeled by who handles it.
Some fixes require a web developer — schema markup installation, broken link repairs, and technical site issues. Those go in a dedicated developer section of your report written specifically for your dev team, so nothing gets lost in translation.

But many fixes require no technical background at all: claiming directory listings, correcting your Google Business Profile, updating a phone number on Avvo, adding your bar number or license to your bio page. The report clearly marks every fix with who handles it. If you want us to handle the technical work, that is available as our Tier 3 done-for-you implementation service.
Wikidata is a free, publicly accessible structured database that ChatGPT and Google pull from directly when verifying that a business or professional is real and credible. Think of it as a machine-readable version of Wikipedia — one that AI trusts highly.

Most local businesses do not have a Wikidata entry, which means AI systems have one less way to confirm your existence. Wikidata has real notability rules, so we offer this as an eligibility review first — as a $300 add-on — and only create or correct an entry when a business actually qualifies. For law firms, bar association registrations and legal directory listings typically provide enough external reference to qualify.
Results and Timeline

What to Expect After the Audit

There is no universal timeline, and no legitimate provider can promise exactly when a citation will appear — AI systems retrieve and update information at different rates. In practice, results tend to happen in layers:

Right away — Technical fixes like page speed improvements are visible almost immediately.

Over the following weeks — As directories and your website get recrawled, updated information starts showing up in what AI systems can find. Timing varies by platform.

Ongoing — AI models change and competitors catch up, so continued content updates, reviews, and schema maintenance help sustain visibility rather than let it fade.

We track your progress through completed fix verification and monthly dashboard scores, re-running the same tests so you can see what's actually changed.
No one can guarantee that — and any service that promises it is overselling. The AI makes the final citation decision based on its own training, its sources, and the competitive landscape in your market.

What we do guarantee is that your online presence will be cleaned up and presented properly to the world. Every platform consistent. Every signal correct. Every opportunity documented and fixed. When AI looks for you, it will find everything it needs to say yes. Once your team implements the recommendations, we run the reports again to show you the before and after scores side by side. That is not a promise. That is a receipt.
AI systems tend to keep citing sources they have already verified as consistent and trustworthy, so a business that establishes strong AI visibility early may have an easier time staying visible than a competitor trying to catch up later.

In most local markets, very few businesses have done this work yet. That gap will not necessarily stay open, so there is a real advantage to being one of the first in your market to get it right.
Pricing and Services

Investment and Options

The Tier 1 audit is $1,500 — a one-time investment. You receive a 10 to 12 page dashboard-style report with an overall AI Visibility Index score, six category breakdowns with individual scores, a competitor visibility map, and a ranked priority fix list with every item labeled by who handles it.

Delivered as a polished PDF on a live Zoom call so we walk through every finding together. You leave knowing exactly what to do and in what order.
The Tier 2 monthly monitoring plan re-runs your AI citation tests every month, verifies that recommended fixes have been implemented, watches for new competitors appearing in AI results, and flags anything that needs attention before it becomes a bigger problem.

AI visibility is not a one-time fix. The landscape shifts, competitors catch up, and AI models update their criteria. Monitoring keeps you ahead of those changes.

Available month-to-month at $400 per month, or as part of a 6-month bundle starting at $180 per month when combined with your Tier 1 audit upfront. The bundle totals $2,400 and saves $1,500 compared to purchasing both separately.
That is completely fine. The Tier 1 audit stands entirely on its own. You receive the full report and ranked fix list, and your team can implement everything without any additional help from us. Many clients start there, see the value, and come back for monitoring later. There is no obligation to continue and no pressure on the call to add anything.
We work with local and regional professional service businesses including law firms, independent dentists, insurance agents, financial advisors and CPAs, realtors, and home service businesses. Each industry has its own set of AI-trusted directories, schema types, and citation signals — and we know all of them.

If you do not see your industry listed, book a discovery call anyway. AI visibility gaps affect every local professional service business with a website.
